He makes some great points. I don't know about K-12 but certainly the weaker universities are under threat. Online degrees are getting pretty popular. But I still think we will always have ground schools in some form. Not just because of the students but because of the creation of knowledge. I think Academics will still want to be face to face. Especially in those cases where physical labs are required. etc.
Didn't read the article, but I did hear a report on NPR this morning about this - with regard to online courses for high school students. The students will go into the library at school and check out a computer and work on their online class - crazy!
Musings on seemingly random topics - politics, economics, religion, sports, boardgames - best left alone if you want to keep your friends. However, if it itches I can't help but scratch it.
