Maybe Texas isn't so bad after all

One thing Katie and I dread about Texas is the suffocating summer heat and humidity. I saw in the Trib today that Utah is contributing to and suffering from global greenhouse warming more than any state in the union. Perhaps we got out just in time? Enjoy the drought back there! :)

Things really have changed since I was a little girl...and that is not quite a half century ago of memories. But the winters were harder and longer and the spring and fall were longer too. We do have a lot more summer now. But I will take our long summers of 90's and even 100's to Texas' humidity ANY time! At least we can drive up into the moutains if need be. Where can you drive to in Texas? Just more Texas...or Okalahoma.
